Stazione Radio

Rete Ferroviaria Italiana has granted a 3.000 m2 area to Social Green Way, a social enterprise that conceived the urban regeneration project of this iconic place to create the first podcast factory with a positive impact. A podcast production center dedicated to sustainable living where the public can attend live podcasts and at the same time record and produce their own podcasts in the studios that will be built in different areas of the building.

In addition to editorial production, Stazione Radio will also design and create services and events to promote a sustainable discovery of different territories.

First stop: the restoration of the building

The building, dating back to 1922, remained unused after forty years of service until 2019, the year in which RFI gave the spaces on loan for the creation of Stazione Radio.

The first interventions concerned the green area with the expansion of the adjacent garden where a communal space will be created that will enhance the railway vegetation.

In the first episode of the podcast “Next stop” the voices of Daniela Ducato, President of the ethics committee of Social Green Way, and the seven partners of the social enterprise tell how the project was born.
